At SlowCut, founded by Macky Duce in Shepherd, Texas, we respect your privacy. Our marketplace is built on trust, neutral third-party escrow, and physical craftsmanship. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to data brokers or third-party advertisers. We collect only the information necessary to evaluate tree hazards, match you with certified local arborists, facilitate secure payments, and dispatch emergency tree crews.
2Information We Collect
Homeowner name, phone number, email address, and physical tree job location (e.g., Shepherd, Livingston, Cleveland, TX) provided when posting a job or requesting an arborist bid.
Photos of trees, rooflines, and drop zones uploaded by users for AI hazard estimation, insurance claim documentation, and crew quote evaluation.
All payment transactions, credit card data, and bank account wiring (ACH) are securely processed by Stripe, Inc. SlowCut never stores raw credit card numbers or banking passwords on our servers.
Mobile numbers used for 60-second emergency 911 tree broadcasts, storm alerts, and escrow release notifications dispatched via our Twilio carrier gateway.
3How We Use Your Data
- To enable verified arborists and tree crews to inspect your tree job and submit transparent, zero-damage bids.
- To hold client funds securely in neutral Stripe escrow vaults until the homeowner signs off on the 5-point craftsmanship release audit.
- To transmit rapid SMS alerts via Twilio when urgent tree emergencies (trees fallen on houses or blocked roads) require immediate crew mobilization.
- To generate ANSI-compliant storm adjuster photo packets for FEMA and insurance claim documentation.
- To prevent fraud, verify arborist insurance certificates, and protect East Texas landowners from unauthorized property damage.

We implement industry-standard 256-bit TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit. Job photos, property information, and communication channels are isolated using PostgreSQL Row Level Security (RLS), ensuring that only authorized contracting parties can view specific job details.
